No shows in schedule!
pete doherty is just one of those people who either you like or you don't. there's no middle ground. some will say he's the greatest song writer of our time and some will say he's a crack head.
i've always been a fan of pete doherty's music but as this record started i wasn't sure what to think. the first 2 tracks weren't bad by all means but i didn't quite get into them. however, when track three, "1939 returning", began i was in awe. this song is one dark pieces that just pulls you right into it. from that point on this record completely amazed me.
As teenagers, both Nick and I are well aware of the issues that Young Australians face every Friday Morning.
We are so well-aware of this, in fact, that we have decided to dedicate a show to the recovery from Thursday night!
Therefore, if you're in the area, pop in for a quick chat, as we'll be discussing some of the craziest alcohol fueled stories as well as random tid-bits about areas of our life. Expect personal narratives, rants and WTF moments, it's all covered.
Description: Show Time: 6:05-7:05pm Tuesdays
Radio Station: radiomonash.net/listen (online only)
Diary of a fan:
A radio show. A person. Another person. A funny gaff, the mention of zoology. Who are these humans? I cannot flee. Its too late to move, because they've got me in a quadraplegic trance. They control my mind through the Art of Madness, and I am theirs for one hour. Holiness propagated in the sky.
They are Noam and they are Asher. They believe in my power to speak and my freedom to moisturise.
Can someone tell me how I can post an album review? It's my first time and I can't seem to figure it out..
Thanks
Hello RadMon folks. Mike Katz beaming in again, with some of the tasty tunes I've been digging the past month.
Our fine and glorious leader Hadi informs me i'll be DJing this Tuesday night at Sir John's for the Daiquiri Night, so come holla atcha boi.
1. Q-Tip; The Renaissance
do you like random tunes, ranting and random cameos by people's nipples?
then listen to soup tree. it's just a guy sitting in from of a microphone playing anything and everything; punk, metal, rap, blues, ska, electro and rod stewart! meanwhile trying to come up with things to say on the spot and occasionally having cameos by the mysterious enigma, eythan.
listen at 1.05pm every thursday!
Less chatter, more tunes (well, SOME chatter but mostly tunes). "What tunes?", I hear you shout from atop the Sir John Bar! Well the answer is simple: whatever I feel like playing at the time.
Join me, Grievous Bodily Charm, every Monday morning at 11.05am during the semester for a cacophony of sound and multiple eargasms.
Aurally yours,
G.B.C xo

A radioshow never seen before. Social commentary with Shaun and Kyle, two young men with deadly attractive voices. From awkward movie watching, to the art of clothes syncronisation. What more could you want in a great late midafternoon straight mandate?
