New Program: Animal Awareness Hour

Monday 1 June

‘Animal Awareness Hour’ radio program will be presented by Monash Journalism students: Jacquelie Hanafie, Julia Burpee, Laura Meaney and Bobbie Wood.

The program will feature aspects of animal rights news, and issues such as the controversial jumps racing and duck shooting, incorporating interviews with RSPCA President Dr Hugh Wirth, and representatives from the animal world.

The program will also feature a segment on caring for your pets in Winter, as well as music for all animal lovers!

Gate-crasher

Welcome to 'Gatecrashers' hosted by Vanan, Ruobin, Neil and Kieu.

If you find yourself getting smashed up all the time, you simply have to tune in for this show.

Our program is about different perspectives on how the youth of today use drugs, legal or illegal, and their association with clubbing.

Have a bad hangover story? We wanna hear it.. Have a funny story abt your mate. we want the juicy details.. tune in and you will be hooked!!

The von Trapp Family Singers

Radio Monash is thrilled to announce the arrival of The von Trapp Family Singers.
On the 5th of June Bridget Fitzgerald, Kogulan Ravindran, Ally Hansen and Alex Robb will be presenting an hour long magazine style program extravaganza.
The von Trapp Family Singers will be going to town on youth issues of the day.
While the show will place a special focus on young and emerging music artists, the Singers will also discuss topics that relate to young people in 2009.
