At The End Of The Day

Gary Ayres is remembered for many things. Being a rubbish coach who ran two otherwise successful lists into the ground, lost every Grand Final he came close to and even helped Sheeds get the arse. Having disgusting hair. Decisively demonstrating that talent on the football field is not a guarantee of having talent off it. But surely it is his contribution to the great Australian lexicon that stands as his greatest achievement.

"At the end of the day it's your Thompsons, your van Berlos, your orange cream cheese..."

Monday Madness

On Radio Monash every Monday from 5pm for an hour with your hosts Ben & Matt to help kickoff your week by talking shit and playing the best music around...well what we reckon is good music anyway.

Come up to the Airport Lounge or listen online and relax while we make you either laugh or cry in no particular order...

Semester 2 is Here!!

Semester 2 is here and Radio Monash is back in stride. New show applications close July 24th (see Ando's Blog). We'll be out broadcasting live at Re-Orientation Day. And also commentating on Green Week events (Live!) - so you can keep a safe distance but still get the goss.

ETC

'Talking about what people talk about' is what we do, meaning that we base our shows in whatever's on people's mouths when talking to friends, making conversation with someone new or just chatting casually.
We deal mostly with popular culture, be it movies, plays, books, music, TV, upcoming/past events, trends and such, that people can take as reference in a conversation, and we dig deep into what makes that particular thing vibrate, what makes it be famous, be a topic, be popular, be interesting, be good, etc, etc, etc.

Hoobastank: For(N)ever

Release Date:
26th June, 2009
Publisher:

Being Hoobastank, I expected to hear something even lighter than their last hit album "The Reason", but I came to find this album a good mixture of rock and neo-punk, with lyrics mostly referring to relationships [which, let’s face it, it's always good to be reminded the fact that we need to love... even with maximum distortion!].
