Booka Shade - let’s get physical …

In news that’s guaranteed to thrill their loyal legion of local fans, luminary Minimal/Tech House
doyens, Booka Shade, will play intimate LIVE shows in both Melbourne and Sydney. Hitting The
Metro in Sydney on Thursday March 4 and Melbourne’s iconic Forum on Friday March 5, the
Frankfurt duo are set to dazzle with LIVE renditions of their underground anthems from their trio
of acclaimed albums – ‘Memento’, ‘Movements’ and ‘The Sun & the Neon Light’. Booka Shade’s
much-anticipated new album is due for release in April through Bandroom Records.

Scottish Indie supergroup Franz Ferdinand’s Melbourne and Sydney shows just got even hotter
with news that Brisbane’s prodigious alternative rockers, Yves Klein Blue, will be lending
support for both dates. Fresh from a huge year that saw them release their debut album ‘Ragged
& Elastic’ to critical acclaim, the talented Aussie quartet will be the perfect warm up for Alex
Kapranos and his all-conquering Franz Ferdinand ensemble. But wait, there’s more! Sydney Indie
Rock sensation Philadelphia Grand Jury are also along for the ride. Buckle up kids, this is
going to be one hell of a show!

Sven Vath & Dubfire - let’s go underground …
And, last but certainly not least, Sydney’s die-hard Techno collective have had all of their prayers
answered with news that two of the genre’s premier global purveyors – Germany’s legendary
DJ/Producer and Cocoon boss, Sven Vath, and Deep Dish’s dark prince of Techno, Dubfire –
will be teaming up on the same bill. Rocking what promises to be one of the finest underground
club gigs in recent memory, the pair will take The Metro Theatre by storm on Friday March 5th.
